Tracking Points with Point Manager
Automatic Point Tracking
DrawScout supports automatic point tracking for point purchases and unsuccessful applications in eight popular states. Tracking these points is as easy as updating your application statuses.
For point purchase applications, this means marking your application as submitted. In states where submitting earns you a point, the point is immediately tracked. In states where the point is not earned until the draw (e.g., Colorado), the point will be added at the time of the draw.

For unsuccessful applications that automatically earn a point, simply mark your application as Not Drawn.

Manual Point Tracking
Points for any state can be added manually directly into Point Manager. If you have existing points when you start using DrawScout, you can add them in bulk. If you apply in states that don't support automatic data, simply add your point to Point Manager when purchased.
To do so, navigate to Point Manager in the main navigation. Next, select Add Points in the top right. Choose a state, species (or application type), the number of points to add, point type, and year.

Most states track points by species. Some states, such as Montana, track points by Application Type. For example, you may have one type of point for an Elk Permit, but another for General Elk.
Deleting Points or Resetting to Zero
States with automatic point tracking will be reset to zero when an application is successful.
You can manually remove points by clicking the red X next to a point entry in Point Manager.
You can also reset your points to zero for a species by clicking the gear icon, then choosing Reset Points to Zero.
